- The Rapids AIDS Project (RAP) serves the residents of Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Delaware, Iowa, Linn, Johnson, Jones and Washington counties in Eastern Iowa. The Grant Wood Area Chapter assists area residents prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters and other life-threatening emergencies.

- Abbe Center for Community Care provides transitional and residential services in Marion, Iowa. The staff at the Center utilizes a multi-faceted approach to meet resident needs through individualized treatment in a supervised and structured environment.
- Abbe Center for Community Mental Health is an outpatient treatment center where qualified and caring professionals utilize a team approach to provide services to meet the metal health needs of individuals and that community.

- Free Health Clinic-Iowa City provides a wide scope of acute and chronic outpatient medical care to those who do not have access to other health care providers. They are committed to the concept of patient rights, including the right to receive medical treatment without moral or social judgment, and the right to privacy and confidentiality. There are no fees for the Free Medical Clinic’s services.

- Center on Aging University of Iowa Health Care (STAR) is a database of Iowans over age 50 who are interested in volunteering for research studies at the University of Iowa (UI), and live within a two-hour driving radius of the university. STAR matches research volunteers with studies for which they are likely to qualify, using information provided by each volunteer.
- Elder Services Provides programs, services, and resources to assist persons age 60 and over in Johnson County and east central Iowa to stay active, independent, and safe in their homes.
